Sermon outline: The church suffers for the good news (1:24-25a). The church is entrusted with the good news (1:25b-27). The church will mature in Christ through the proclamation of the good news (1:28-29). The church has the answer, antidote, and assurance–Christ Jesus himself in his fullness (2:1-5).
